Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, one of South Korea's leading hospital organizations specializing in non-surgical spine and joint care, is joining hands with Indiana University School of Medicine to host a landmark international conference in Indianapolis from August 28–29, 2026.
Themed "East, West, and Healthcare Excellence: Integrative Approaches to Musculoskeletal Health from Pediatrics to Geriatrics," the conference will bring together global experts, clinicians, and researchers to explore innovative strategies for improving musculoskeletal health. By bridging perspectives from Western medicine and Eastern medicine, the event aims to advance integrative care models that enhance patient outcomes across all age groups.
This year, Jaseng is proud to collaborate with the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) in hosting the conference, with special partnership from the Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health (ICMH), directed by Dr. Melissa Kacena. As one of the largest musculoskeletal research centers in the United States, ICMH is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for bone, joint, and muscle health. Indeed, Indiana Musculoskeletal health Partnership for the Advancement of Care and Treatment (IMPACT) is a finalist for the $160M National Science Foundation Engine grant with more than 100 academic, non-profit, governmental, and industry partners. With Indiana recognized as a leading hub for musculoskeletal medicine, the 2026 conference offers an ideal setting to foster dialogue and collaboration across global disciplines.
The AJA 2026 conference with partnership from the Society for Acupuncture Research, will welcome experts from across the globe, with speakers representing the United States, South Korea, China, Germany, and more. Attendees will include physicians, acupuncturists, physical therapists, massage therapists, and researchers, all sharing a common interest in advancing musculoskeletal integrative care.
